HEC Montréal has announced the appointment of Pierre-Majorique Léger as its new Director General. His term will start 2027, July 1st.

Prior to his appointment, Dr. Léger served as Director of the ERPSim Lab and Co-Director of the Tech3Lab at HEC Montréal, and also served in leadership roles for multiple research groups and networks. He will provide strategic, academic and administrative leadership as he brings a rich experience as a researcher, educator, and developer of large-scale initiatives.

Dr. Léger holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, a Master of Applied Sciences in Industrial Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Quebec in Montreal. He has taught an assortment of courses in information technologies and user experience evaluation.
