The University of Sherbrooke has announced the appointment of Abdelouahab Mekki-Berrada as the new Dean of the School of Business. His term will start 2025, June 1st.

Prior to his appointment, Dr. Mekki-Berrada served as Associate Dean for Development and Partnerships and Director of the Laurent Beaudoin Center, the executive education branch of the School of Business at the University of Sherbrooke. He brings a rich experience in acadmic international partnerships development, specifically in French-speaking countries in Europe and Africa, along with his professional background dealing with companies to adopt a digital shift.

Dr. Mekki-Berrada holds a PhD in Marketing and a Master of Science in e-commerce from HEC Montréal, and a Bachelor in Business Management from a Moroccan University. He has taught an assortment of courses in e-commerce and focuses his research on online purchasing behaviors and the use of neurophysiological tools to measure them.
